Associate Marriage Family Therapist #95321
At some point in life you know you need something profound and powerful. You need a person: someone to whom you can share secrets; that secret that lies deep inside of you – the one that you’ve hidden from the outside world of work and action, even from your own thoughts. It’s the secret that scares you because you don’t know how the telling of it, the examining of it, the speaking of it out loud will change you. What might you loose? But you then find it becomes too painful to hide it anymore. So you reach out and find someone safe, nonjudgmental, kind and compassionate to hear your story. Surprisingly you discover, when you bring it out of hiding, a new friendship begins: a friendship with you, and a friendship with others that brings peace and a union of all the separated pieces of yourself.
As a therapist I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental, accepting place where my clients can explore their secrets – their fears – and their pain. It is my goal to help my clients begin to trust themselves, trust me and possibly God. To hep them find their true voice and build satisfying connections from a place of congruence and confidence and not fear and protection.
I am trained in Brainspotting, Certified in Prepare and Enrich couples counseling and enjoy working with Individuals, couples and adolescents
