Family Therapy
Families are the crucible of life. All of us come from a family and there are many adjectives to describe them. A few are: intact, dysfunctional, functional, fun, faithful, formal, rigid, safe, abusive, disconnected, enmeshed, flexible, and the like. Family is the place we learn rules, roles, habits, value, competency, a sense of belonging, and how to cope with life as we know it. Sometimes the rules we learn, the roles we adopt, or the habits we develop impair our relationships. Family therapy is a safe respectful way to look at a family's dynamics and work towards making a home in which members want to live and be a part of.
